Dorita S. Berger, PhD, MT-BC, LCAT: Sensorimotor Music Therapy; Autism Specialist; former faculty Montclair State University & Kean University, (NJ); Fulbright Visiting Specialist Grant to teach in Ukraine; Global Education Grant to teach and lecture in Argentina; invitations to lecture Italy, Corsica, Canada, and elsewhere. Dr. Berger studied Dalcroze with Marta Sanchez during her BFA Degree training at Carnegie Mellon University.
She and her husband currently reside in Durham, NC, where she is Research Affiliate and Supervisor for music and brain investigations at UNC-CH Medical School Frohlich Neuroscience Lab, and is Faculty of Duke OLLI (Lifelong Learning) Program, while conducting group classes for “ON THE MOVE: Rhythm-Kinetics for Parkinson’s and Movement Rehabilitation©”.
