Nicole Cochrane is a Music Therapist based in Hamilton, Ontario. Since the age of 7 years old, Nicole took an interest in music, asking her teacher if she could sing a solo in one of her school concerts. At age 12, she began singing lessons and soon picked up the household guitar. Nicole always had an interest in the arts as well as a fascination with psychology (the question of “why” was one she frequently asked). But it wasn’t until her senior year of high school that Nicole learned about the field of Music Therapy. She immediately knew that it was a perfect fit, as it bridged her two passions!
Nicole completed a Bachelor of Music Therapy from Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia in 2018 and her internship in Toronto in 2019. Nicole participated in the mentorship program with the Music Therapy Academy to further build both her clinical skills and business skills as she prepared to launch her own private practise; Tune In Music Therapy.
