In this episode, we interview Dr Shane Cassidy, Founder of Neurolinks (www.neurolinks.ie). We hear about how and why he was inspired to become a music therapist. He also shares advice to those interested in becoming a music therapist. Shane is the founder of Neurolinks. He is an accredited music therapist with over thirteen years’ experience in the health and educational settings. He is also a member of the International Academy for Neurologic Music Therapy. In this inteview, we speak about Dr Shane Cassidy's career starting off studying music education in Dublin, then completing extensive music therapy studies in Limerick, Ireland. He then shares his experience at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dublin and the development of his growing music therapy practice, Neurolinks.
